On November 28th, Business School held Undergraduate Education Work Conference in the lecture hall of gym on Yangzijin Campus. Hongliang Yu, Vice President of Yangzhou University, attended the conference and delivered a speech. Hongliang Yu fully affirmed the achievements of Business School on undergraduate education in recent years. He also pointed out that it is necessary to further strengthen professional construction and promote the improvement of the talent training quality, and that it is necessary to further strengthen the construction of teachers' morality and ethics, and highlight the mission of the school, and that it is necessary to stick to the mode of integration of science and education, and the mode of innovative education, and that it is necessary to strengthen the linkage between majors and disciplines to promote the construction of the integration of "teaching" and "learning", and that it is necessary to cultivate specialized culture of Business School on talent training.
Qing Zhang, director of the Academic Affairs Office, delivered a special report at the conference. Qing Zhang explained how to cultivate better talents by the best teachers from three perspectives including "Why should become the best teacher", "What is the best teacher" and "How to cultivate the best students".
Biao Lu, Dean of Business School, delivered a work report at the conference. Biao Lu summed up the achievements of the undergraduate education of the school after the 13th Five-Year Plan, and analyzed the current opportunities and challenges, and then proposed the next phase of work goals and key initiatives. Kejin Xie, secretary of the Party Committee of the school, pointed out that the school should keep up with the new era, implement new requirements, and take on new missions. The teacher representatives delivered speeches at the conference from the aspects of professional construction, teaching research and reform, improvement of student training quality, and so on.
Jinhai Xu, Deputy Dean of Business School, presided over the conference. Around 600 people including all of the teachers of the school as well as student representatives attended the conference.
