On December 1^st, the 3^rd High Level Forum on National Governance System and Governance Ability was hosted at Business School, Yangzhou University. The Vice President, Yaping Chen, attended the opening ceremony of the forum and delivered a speech.

“I hope experts who have attended this forum will continue to support the development of Public Management Discipline of our University, and you are sincerely welcome to join our academic research team of your area. Let’s jointly develop a new research realm of National Governance System and Governance Ability, “said Yaping Chen. He also affirmed the achievements attained by the Research Center of Government Governance & Public Policy and Public Management Discipline of Business School, in recent years.

Professor Xiaoping Gao, Executive Vice President of Chinese Public Administration Society (CPAS), Professor Huang Ding from Wuhan University, Professor Chunkui Zhu from Fudan University, Professor Hongshan Yang from Renmin University of China, Professor Tan Chen from Guangzhou University, and other experts or scholars delivered special reports separately.

The theme for the forum is “Regulation, Experience, and New Thoughts”. This forum was co-sponsored by the Research Center of Government Governance & Public Policy of Yangzhou University, Research Base of Service-Oriented Government Construction of Jiangsu Province, Service-Oriented Government Research Institute of Nanjing University, and was hosted by Business School of Yangzhou University.

Biao Lu, Dean of Business School of Yangzhou University, presided over the opening ceremony of the forum, and Kejin Xie, Secretary of the Party Committee of Business School of Yangzhou University, delivered a welcome speech. Nearly 70 scholars of public management field from 14 provinces (cities), 33 colleges and universities, and 4 magazines attended this conference.
