After the launch ceremony, the new business reform model courses "Political Economy" and "Operation Management" of Yangzhou University carried out synchronous classroom teaching.

Professor Qin Xingfang, course leader of Political Economy, taught the topic of "Overcoming the bottleneck of farmers' Prosperity", and the class started from "Why farmers are poor?" "How to achieve common prosperity?" To cut into the discussion, after the students of the two schools put forward their own thoughts and opinions, Professor Qin Xingfang guided the students to analyze the bottlenecks faced by farmers' prosperity from the material, spiritual and ecological dimensions of "common prosperity" based on his own academic research results, and proposed a "two-wheel drive" path to "make up for weaknesses" and "improve efficiency". Associate Professor Dai Yong's "Operation Management" MOOCs are the first batch of online courses run by the National higher Education Smart Education Platform. In this synchronized class, Associate Professor Dai Yong taught "Quality Management of Operation". He took the exquisite skills of ancient Chinese skilled craftsmen and handed down works as examples, so that students of the two schools could immerse themselves in the concept of "quality first" since ancient times in China, and combined with realistic cases to inspire students' struggle and scientific spirit of "hard work and independence". And actively participate in the great cause of national rejuvenation of manufacturing power, quality power passion.

Students who live far away can not only hear the course content in real time, but also actively participate in the classroom interaction such as answering questions, and the classroom atmosphere is active. Professor Han Li of Ningxia University proposed to normalize the "MOOCs going West" activity, hoping to arrange synchronized classes with different chapter contents every year, and Professor Yang Guotao of Ningxia University proposed to take the "MOOCs going West synchronized classes" as an opportunity to comprehensively improve the education and teaching level of western universities.
