On April 20, 2022, "Yangzhou University 120th Anniversary Academic Activities Series - Business School Academic Forum", the Business School invited distinguished alumnus Professor Zhu Kai, Deputy Dean and doctoral supervisor of the School of Accounting of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, to make an academic report entitled "Accounting Professional Construction and Talent Development under Intelligent Environment" through online means. The report was chaired by Professor Li Zhibin, deputy dean of the Business School, and more than 100 teachers and graduate students of finance and accounting and other related majors of the business school attended the report.

Professor Zhu comprehensively and deeply analyzed the demand for accounting talents under the intelligent environment from five aspects, including the development of intelligent environment and accounting, the job responsibilities of the demand for accounting talents in enterprises, the professional ability of the demand for accounting talents in enterprises, the characteristics of the construction of accounting majors in universities and the breakthrough of the construction of accounting majors in universities, and proposed an innovative model for the cultivation of accounting professionals in universities. Professor Zhu also interacted with teachers and students and gave detailed answers to questions raised by teachers and students.
