In order to promote the pilot projects of first-class undergraduate major development in business administration and economics, the School of Business held a seminar on 10 January 2023. The meeting was hosted by Associate Professor Xu Jing, Associate Dean of the School of Business, and attended by more than 10 people, including Professor Li Zhibin, Dean of the School of Business, Professor Zhang Lai, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs, etc.
In the first stage of the meeting, Dean Li Zhibin stressed the importance of the construction of first-class majors and courses, and indicated that the school would fully support the relevant practices in the future. Professor Zhang Lai, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Office, explained in detail the policies and requirements of the university and elaborated on the future direction of the university's key construction. In the second phase, Prof Qin Xingfang firstly introduced the the pilot projects of first-class undergraduate major development of Economics. Associate Professor Fan Qingji reported on progress made in construction Business Administration. Then, Associate Dean Huang Chunyan, Professor Qin Xingfang, Associate Professor Li Yaqin, Associate Professor Yuan Fenglin, Associate Professor Gao Gongbu, and Associate Professor Kong Debin introduced the progress of the construction of six ‘4+2’ first-class courses. Finally, Prof. Zhang Bin and other five team leaders introduced their projects and exchanged their experience of course team construction. After the meeting, the participating teachers confirmed that they had benefited a lot and expected more such exchanges in the future.
