From 17th to 19th March, the final round of the 13th Challenge Cup Chinese Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Competition (CUEPIC) was held in Liangxiang Campus of Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). Vice President Cai Yingwei, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the University, paid a visit to our ‘`Zhuang Ling Yu Xiu’ team. The competition attracted more than 330,000 projects from 3,011 schools across China.

After a fierce competition, ‘Zhuang Ling Yu Xiu - the leader of the cultural heritage and revitalisation of the national cosmetics’ won the National Gold Medal in the competition, also the only winner in Jiangsu Province under the category of cultural creativity and regional cooperation (undergraduate group) in this competition.

The members of ‘Zhuang Ling Yu Xiu team - The Pilot of Cultural Inheritance and Revitalisation of National Cosmetic Brand’ , including Liu Ting and Dai Mingpin, are mainly from Yangzhou University's School of Business, and are led by three instructors, Gao Gongbu, Sun Maoqing and Wang Chengchun.

The project plans to provide Chinese cosmetic brands with a set of brand revitalisation solutions integrating visual design, experience promotion and ingredient upgrading. Currently, it has reached cooperation with long-established brands such as Dai Chunlin, Xie Fuchun, Ji Desheng, etc., to jointly promote the inheritance and revitalisation of the national cosmetic culture.

The CUEPIC is a national competition jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the China Association for Science and Technology and the All-China Federation of Students. It is committed to guiding students to understand the national and social conditions, enhancing their socialisation ability and motivating them to engage in employment and entrepreneurship.
