The 13th Guizhou Maotai Scholarship Award Ceremony was held grandly in the School of Business on January 10^th, 2024. The event was organized by Guizhou Maotai Liquor Sales Co., Ltd. and the School of Business at Yangzhou University.  

President Jiang Naihua expressed gratitude on behalf of the university to the alumni and Maotai Group for their generous donations and support to education and congratulations to the award-winning students. He introduced the academic achievements of Yangzhou University, noting that the Maotai Scholarship has been an exemplary social scholarship program established earlier in our school and has become a benchmark project. He hoped that the students would be ambitious, shouldering the responsibility as successors, firm in their ideals and beliefs, pursuing their dreams fearlessly, and maintaining a proactive attitude in their endeavors. He encouraged them to aspire to become the outstanding youth of the new era who have ideals, courage, the ability to endure hardships, and are willing to strive, contributing their youth and strength to the construction of China's modernization.

Zhu Lei, a student from the Administrative Class 2201, spoke on behalf of the award-winning students. She expressed gratitude to Maotai Group and teachers, pledging to maintain firm beliefs and take on historical responsibilities, seize opportunities of the times, do well in their small endeavors, and give back to society after completing their studies, thus writing a remarkable youth story.

During the ceremony, Dean Li Zhibin read out the list of students who received the scholarship, and the leaders and guests on the podium presented the awards to the winning students.
