Major of Finance

1、Program Objective: This program aims to cultivate applied talents with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in finance, who can do the related work in the area of banking, securities, investment, insurance, economic management and enterprises.
2、Program Requirements: Students of this major mainly study the basic principles and knowledges concerning currency banking, international finance, securities, investment and insurance. With the targeted training, they need to possess the basic capability of working in the area of finance and have a good master of a foreign language.
After graduation, students should obtain the following knowledges and skills: 
    (1).Master the basic principles and knowledges of finance.
   (2). Have the basic ability of doing the work concerning banking, securities, investment and insurance.
   (3).  Know about the national guidance, policies and regulations in finance.
   (4).  Know about the development of the academic theories in this area. 
   (5).  Know how to do literature review and collect data, and build up certain skills in doing economic research and practical work.

In total: 160 credits, including 121.5 credits for theory courses (occupying 76 percent of total credits) and 38.5 credits for practical and experimental courses (occupying 24 percent of total credits). The proportion of elective courses is 35.48percent.
