1、Program Objective: This program aims to, through cooperation with Charles Sturt University of Australia, get reference from Australian educational concept, introduce Australian original English textbooks and conduct bilingual teaching by lecturers from both China and Australia. This program is to cultivate international business management talents with good knowledge of international market, world economic development, and cross-cultural educational background, who can understand international business rules and practices, and can do the work in multinational corporations, foreign affairs business departments, foreign-based enterprises and foreign firms.
2、Program Requirements: Students of this major mainly study the basic principles of international business, international economics and international trade. With the targeted training in modern enterprise managemen in the world, they need to possess high quality in competing in the international market and exploring innovation, and be capable of conducting international business in English.
After graduation, students should obtain the following knowledges and skills:
(1). Know the development of international economy and international business rules and practices.
(2). Know about the economic development situation and trade policy in major countries and regions in the world.
(3). Possess the mental quality and preparation for participating in international market competition, have high senese of innovation with strong ability of social adaptation and business communication.
(4). Have basic ability of conduction international business practice and be able to do business in good English.
(5). Have a good master of English with high ability in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. Students of this major should pass CET band 6 at university and have the ability of passing some international English level tests like BEC and Yelts.
